Technical Stuff

• HTML 5/CSS 3/search-engine friendly/progressive enhancement with JavaScriptPortfolioh really needs JavaScript enabled to look good. It still works for those without JavaScript enabled, it’s just not as lovely. In our experience this is a complete non-issue, since virtually everyone looking at art on the web will use JavaScript.
• Looks great in Internet Explorer 7+, Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Opera
• No Flash at all, so looks great on iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches, too
• TODO: what about Android and WP7?
• Looks solid on Internet Explorer 6A lot of portfolio sites use Flash to work around Internet Explorer 6′s limitations; we chose to spend our time making it look good on iPads, etc… If IE 6 support is important to you than this many not be the best of portfolio software. You see how Portfolioh looks in IE 6 here.
